Cyber Security Analyst

Cynerio is a growing startup in the Healthcare IoT cybersecurity field. We are on a mission to empower healthcare facilities with the control, foresight, and adaptability they need to proactively manage every connection - from medical and IoT devices to OT systems - on their own terms. We equip hospitals with the means to accomplish real security while continuing to ensure patient safety, data confidentiality, and service continuity.

We are looking for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Cyber Security team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cyber security investigations in medical networks using Cynerio’s solutions.
• Identify and analyze potential security incidents that currently exist or may pose a potential threat to customer networks.
• Conduct blackbox network analysis of proprietary or obscure protocols used by medical and IoT devices.
• Develop tools and scripts to automate and improve the process of detection and investigation, as well as to identify new opportunities to develop and
  
  

• Work with our marketing team to deliver whitepapers, blogs and articles about our work.
  
  

• At least 2 years of experience in network analysis using Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
• Experience with conducting and managing research projects.
• Experience with analyzing network protocols - well-known and/or proprietary.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Experience with Snort/Suricata/Yara and similar IDS tools - Advantage.
• Experience with IoT and/or OT devices and protocols - Advantage.
• Experience with developing python tools and scripts - Advantage.
• Experience with pentesting tools (nmap, etc) - Advantage.
