Senior Process Engineer

NewPhotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines solving the power and performance challenges. We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join our dynamic team

Responsibilities:

·      Develop advanced optical assembly procedures and recipes.

·      Assess and qualify new adhesives, soldering techniques, and packaging materials for interconnect products.

·      Manage all process stages in the fabrication of advanced Silicon-Photonics devices, from the CMOS level through backend processing, to packaging and testing.

·      Oversee the product development lifecycle, from prototyping to production transition.

·      Optimize designs, processes, and methodologies for scalability and mass production readiness.

·      Lead process failure analysis tasks.

·      Prepare Process Transfer packages for high-volume manufacturing teams and provide support during manufacturing startup.

Qualifications

Demonstrated expertise in semiconductor industry packaging processes.

·      Strong attention to detail with clear written and verbal communication skills.

·      Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative.

·      Excellent problem-solving and presentation abilities.

·      Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

·      Proficiency in written and verbal communication in both Hebrew and English.

Advantageous Qualifications:

·      Previous experience in R&D teams within semiconductor or optical communication industries.

·      Manufacturing and Data Analysis: Statistics, DOE, JMP

·      Python/MATLAB/LabVIEW

·      Silicon fabrication processes
