helpdesk specialist

The person we are looking for will primarily work with local IT in Israel and report to the local IT manager but will also be part of our EMEA team. We want you to be able to run local projects and support global IT solutions. The position is based in the Munters Petach-Tikva office, Israel.

We are looking for a qualified IT Technician who will be responsible for employee support and developing the IT workplace and assisting the R&D department with their IT environment. The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of computer software and hardware, as well as various internet applications, networks, and operating systems. Troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail are essential.

Key responsibilities

• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
• Check computer hardware to ensure functionality.
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
• Develop and maintain local networks to optimize performance.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders.
• Use our helpdesk system to respond to tickets and escalate as needed, according to ITIL
  
  

Requirements And Skills

• Microsoft MCSE/MCSA - must.
• 3+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
