About the position:

The Program Management job at Skai is in charge of making sure research and development work gets done smoothly and efficiently. We aim to be efficient in all areas, including tools, systems, processes, standards, key performance indicators, budgeting, Agile methods, costs, financial operations, and strategic planning. This role is a central operational leadership position that combines many disciplines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple R&D programs from initiation to completion, ensuring they align with our strategic goals.
• Coach and guide teams in Agile practices, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring continuous improvement in our processes.
• Work closely with the development teams, providing hands-on support and removing obstacles to ensure project success.
• Define, measure, and track the R&D KPIs to monitor project progress and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Plan, monitor, and control budget consumption for R&D projects to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Product Management and Finance to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience in Software development operations: PMO, Release and Program management within a global multinational software company
• Senior Managerial experience from a large size software development organization
• 2 years of experience in managing Jira
• Experience with SaaS products
• Vast experience in agile methodologies
• Excellent understanding in operations or project management practices, techniques, tools and methodologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (proactive, responsible, independent and self-managed)
• Fluent English

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Agile SAFe
• Technical background as QA, developer or DevOps
