Information Security Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Information Security Engineer to join our amazing team on a full-time basis. As an Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible to design, build, and manage the Security infrastructure. Your daily responsibilities include setting up and managing tools and applications for security purposes across organization

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Manage WAF
• Define and harden firewalls rules and configurations
• Perform network traffic analysis for the purpose of network segmentation and hardening
• Ongoing implementation of Security approach
• Participate in investigation and forensic during cyber-attacks
• Define General Security Guidance principles across the organization
• Safeguard Sensitive Data management
• Perform Security Auditing
• Conduct Penetration Tests
• Staying up to date with any cyber-security advancements, including threat intelligence and technical blogs. Research attack techniques and territories, while evaluating defense methods and tools
• Threat detection and management

WHAT MAKES YOU RIGHT FOR THE ROLE:

• Knowledge in CDN providers (CloudFlare, Fastly, Akamai etc)
• Experience with Firewall management
• Hands on experience with Network security systems e.g. VPN, WAF, IPS
• Hands on experience with Linux [On Premise environments]
• Familiarity with Network analyzing TCP/IP protocols [TCP Dump etc]
• Advanced skills with Hacking and Malware analysis processes
• Advanced skills with Public Cloud AWS and On Premise
• You appreciate working with colleagues in other teams
• You are adaptable and someone that is willing
• Experience with creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)

AN ADVANTAGE IN TERMS OF TECHNICAL STUCK WILL BE:

• Familiarity with IaC [Terraform, Cloud Formation etc]
• Familiarity with *KS/K8s and Docker
• Familiarity with Cloud Security and Application Security
• Familiarity with Scripting [Python, Bash]
• Having relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or other network security certifications
