Friends of ALYN Hospital seeks a Logistics and Operations Coordinator

The Logistics and Operations Coordinator will work with the Director of Special Projects to support the planning and implementation of peer-to-peer philanthropic projects in supporting this renowned pediatric and adolescent rehabilitation hospital.

As Logistics and Operations Coordinator, You Get To:

·      Support the Director of Special Projects for coordinating the synergistic work of several suppliers (logistics, tourism, catering, event productions, medical escorts, police escorts, photography, printing, and clothing);

·      Support the Director of Special Projects in obtaining price offers, comparing costs, and preparing all information for purchasing committees;

·      Monitor departmental finances and procurement, including all expenses, communication with suppliers and execution of purchase orders;

·      Have full responsibility to obtain local permits from a variety of authorities;

·      Centralize all information regarding incoming donations (update data base systems, issue receipts, etc.);

·      Regularly update website;

·      Engage with donors and participants in English and Hebrew to provide exemplary customer service

·      Have full responsibility for print and branding programs prior to each event;

This Job Is For You If You:

·       Have at least 2 years’ experience in the Resource Development Department of an Israeli nonprofit;

·       Are familiar with data-base and website programs;

·       Speak Hebrew as a mother tongue;

·       Have good English writing skills;

·       Have a positive attitude and team spirit;

·       Can manage multiple projects and priorities while consistently meeting deadlines – a MUST!

·       Can complete projects with exceptional attention to detail and efficiency – a MUST!

·       Are action-oriented and flexible, and are able to work independently as well as to collaborate with colleagues – a MUST!
