Role Overview: Financial Controller

Masterschool is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Financial Controller. This key leadership role is responsible for managing the organization's financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. The Financial Controller will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information, optimize financial performance, and adapt strategies to align with organizational objectives. This position is crucial for maintaining financial health and supporting the company's long-term growth and success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including preparing financial statements and tax returns and coordinating with external accountants with respect to our foreign subsidiaries.
• Prepare the consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and revenue recognition.
• Create and maintain monthly budget vs. actual reporting and cash flow analysis.
• Review payroll for subsidiaries and collaborate with local payroll firms and accountants.
• Develop and implement efficient financial processes to optimize team activities and deliver quality services to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with local advisors to ensure compliance with local tax and statutory requirements.
• Work with external auditors and consultants during annual audits and address ongoing issues as needed.
• Support various accounting and finance-related projects as needed.
• Report directly to the Head of Finance.

Qualifications:

• CPA with Big 4 experience – a must.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably as a controller in a global high-tech organization during its growth stage.
• Ability to work independently and proactively, learn fast, and be self-motivated.
• Excellent skills in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Full professional fluency in both written and verbal English and Hebrew.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced global company, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
• Highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP system – an advantage.
