Description

The Development Food Technologist will develop new applications using the company's ingredient portfolio, including showcasing new ingredients and innovating within existing product lines. Responsibilities include determining product acceptance limits, planning and performing lab experiments, and analyzing results. The role also involves managing lab ingredients and equipment.

Reporting to the R&D and Innovation Manager, the technologist will collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams, including QA.

Responsibilities

·        Planning, developing, and improving new products and applications

·        Conducting experiments in the development lab

·        Writing reports and presenting findings

·        Building tables of nutritional values and marketing information

·        Responsibility for the sensory evaluation of applications

·        Providing technical support to the sales team and company clients in Israel

·        Working with multiple interfaces within and outside the company

*Full-time position in Ra'anana.

Qualification

·        Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering/Food Technology - mandatory

·        At least 3-5 years of experience as a Food Technologist, preferably with development experience and good scientific understanding

·        Experience working with raw material suppliers

·        Full proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking - mandatory

Skills

·        Full proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking - mandatory

·        Full proficiency in Office software

·        Responsible, professional, ability to work with multiple interfaces and lead several projects simultaneously

·        A team player with a broad perspective, flexibility for intensive work and overtime when needed.

·        Strong attention to detail, documentation, organization, and time management skills.
