We are looking for a highly skilled & experienced Backend Team Leader to join our engineering group and help us with our mission to deliver the best creative to the right people, at the right place and right time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a strong team of 4-6 backend engineers responsible for highly performant micro-services clusters built with the most state of the art technologies & architecture.
• Lead features from design to production in short iterations using the most advanced engineering practices and processes
• Lead the backend engineering team from tech/architecture/professional aspects and drive the team towards excellency
• Work closely with product, architects and other R&D teams to deliver the best solutions to the business.
• Design the solutions by understanding the needs, choosing the right technologies and defining the required interfaces.
• Monitor the solutions in production to make sure they are stable, scalable and performant at all times.
• Work closely with data sciences experts
• Reporting to the R&D director of the group

Profile and Experience:

• +1 years of proven experience in leading backend engineering teams
• +5 years of experience in server development, creating robust and high performing servers, serving billions of requests per day
• +5 years of experience in Java programming, including +3 years of experience with the Spring framework.
• Experience working with databases (Relational and NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud and virtual environments: Amazon, Azure, Docker, K8S – a big advantage
• Familiarity with the Ad Tech industry and RTB – a big advantage
• Experience with big data and data sciences – an advantage
• Extensive experience in OOP, Unit testing/TDD, continuous Deployment – an advantage
• Familiarity with at least one of the following technologies: Spark, Scala, NodeJS -an advantage
• Fluent verbal and written English skills required
