Procurement Department Manager

AHAVA is a global beauty company with offices in Israel, China, Germany, and the USA, and products sold in over 50 countries worldwide.

We are looking for our Procurement Department Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all strategic and tactical procurement operations in the organization, specifically in the areas of raw materials and packaging.

• Analyzing expenditure data regarding cost pricing, competitive environment, operational requirements, supply risks, innovation, business opportunities, etc., aiming at streamlining processes and saving costs.

• Negotiating and improving procurement costs.

• Identifying new suppliers.

• Introducing innovation to the company and supporting the development of new products.

• Managing suppliers according to quality standards, commitment, and service.

• Initiating agreements with suppliers, improving commercial terms, and achieving annual turnover discounts.

• Improving minimum order quantities and adjusting them to the company's needs.

• Managing procurement team and ensuring fulfillment of procurement requirements from requisition to material arrival at company warehouses.

• Handling proposals and responses from suppliers in the system.

• Managing import operations in the company.

Essential Skills for the Role:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - mandatory.

• Master's degree - significant advantage.

• Experience in procurement management in medium/large companies, preferably in manufacturing companies.

• Familiarity with the cosmetics industry - an advantage.

• Experience in negotiation management.

• Familiarity with the packaging industry with emphasis on the cosmetics sector.

• Understanding of international shipping.

• Ability to work in a team.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage work teams and project management.
