The Group

Our Vision group is dedicated to developing cutting-edge AI solutions for computer vision in the embedded world. We play a pivotal role in the development and integration of key features for smartphones, the automotive industry, and more.

What will you do?

As an AI Quantization Engineer, you will join a highly skilled software team to develop state-of-the-art tools and infrastructure used by Samsung teams worldwide for productizing deep learning models on embedded systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Research existing academic literature and develop advanced quantization schemes.
• Developing hardware-oriented approximations for various neural network operators.
• Work closely with HW and SW architects to define the future generation of NN accelerator HW.
• Gaining expertise in a variety of hardware architectures used for inference on embedded systems.
• Supporting team members to improve quantization accuracy.
  
  

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years experience as SW Engineer
• 3+ years experience in Python
• Proven experience developing neural network models using TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Deep understanding of the mathematical principles underlying neural network development and training.
• Passion for production level SW development
  
  

• Experience with neural network quantization processes.
• Master’s degree with a relevant research focus.
