Ply lets teams build a layer of custom functionality into existing web applications, without code. Instead of creating more tools, teams can now add their own features to Gmail, Zendesk, Salesforce, HubSpot, and the like. About 30% of features built are AI-driven and growing rapidly. We're an early-stage startup with a crazy product. We're funded by top-tier investors and have extremely talented people in every role.

We'll soon be releasing a new, PLG-focused version of our product. We're looking for someone to lead GTM efforts hands-on. We're a small team, so everyone wears multiple hats. The core of the role is brainstorming and experimenting with messaging, funnels, and acquisition strategies, but be prepared to touch product, BD, product evangelism, or anything else. Generally, whatever skill you have - prepare to use it, we have little respect for roles and titles. Our product is technical, so you need to be tech-savvy and have superb logical thinking.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead creative marketing strategies that increase user acquisition and activation.
• Turn product capabilities into engaging, simple messaging that captures the 'Why' for different personas.
• Build and experiment with organic and paid acquisition funnels, analyze and optimize based on data.
• Collaborate with design, product, and R&D to make things happen.
• Engage with our community on different platforms.
• Help with anything you're good at, from project management to product to sales.
• Collaborate with a fun bunch of super-smart people, teach and learn a ton.
• Occasionally say you're on a diet, and then eat dessert anyway.

Requirements:

Technical skills & qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years experience in a B2B Growth/Acquisition role with a proven track record of top performance.
• Great marketing strategy and micro-copy skills, hands-on experience in creating assets for different channels.
• A technical one-person show that can create funnels from scratch.
• Strategic thinker that understands customer motivations and cares deeply about UX.
• An eye for design and experience working with designers.
• Experienced in leveraging data analytics and marketing technology to drive insights and optimize marketing initiatives.
• English – Native or excellent.

Who you need to be:

• A tech-savvy individual, that loves no-code and AI.
• Honest, open, with a healthy sense of humor and a strong work ethic.
• Have skills for solving big problems, and a willingness to tackle tiny ones.
