Role Description

We are looking for a Technical Writer to join our documentation team In this role you will create and maintain accurate and well-structured user documentation that fosters greater end-user autonomy with Harmonic products and solutions.

Location

Hybrid role – working at least 3 days a week from our offices in Caesarea.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Technical Writer you will create clear and concise documentation to support both internal and external users of our cutting-edge products and solutions.

What You Should Have

• 2-10 years of experience as a Technical Writer documenting complex hardware and software products from high-tech companies. Experience at a telecommunication company is a big advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in English/Technical Writing/Computer Science/related fields. A native English speaker is preferred.
• At least one year of recent experience writing concise, topic-based content using the DITA-XML standard and familiarity with an XML editor such as oXygenXML.
• At least one year of experience with a bug tracking system such as Jira.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and graphics tools.
• Recent experience using the Atlassian Confluence wiki.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment - advantage.
• Experience working with SVN, BitBucket or another source code repository - advantage.
• Willingness and ability to work under pressure for short bursts, just prior to our product releases.
