We are a well-funded cybersecurity startup that is growing fast in the hot new market of application security posture management.

Our tech landscape thrives through strategic management of our infrastructure using Terraform, all version-controlled in Git (GitHub Cloud). We employ GitHub Actions for continuous integration, task automation, and ArgoCD for continuous delivery, aligning with GitOps methodologies. For observability, we utilize tools like Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch, and Open Telemetry. Our distributed platform operates exclusively on Kubernetes, supporting our SaaS offerings, private cloud, and on-premises deployments.

We are looking for an experienced Platform Team Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of our DevOps tools and infrastructure.
• Mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Design strategies to streamline, automate, and enhance deployment and development workflows, elevating efficiency and robustness.
• Oversee system security, ensuring all platforms are secure, efficient, and robust.
• Collaborate with software development teams to optimize and innovate development pipelines.
• Drive and lead our self-serve platform initiatives, including the development of an Internal Developer Portal.

About you:

• Minimum of 6 years in cloud infrastructure management and development, with strong proficiency in AWS.
• Out of those, Minimum 2 years of management experience
• Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform.
• Expertise in managing and evolving container orchestration systems, especially Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience in leading the creation of self-serve platforms.
• Proficiency in tool development using Python, Golang.
• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Experience in designing infrastructure for large, globally distributed systems.
• Strong adherence to best practices with a track record of reliable, always-on services.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills with a commitment to understanding and prioritizing customer needs.
• Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex issues.
• Strong documentation skills and a detail-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in the application security industry.
• Experience in product management.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements from developers and translate them into cohesive roadmaps or actionable items.
