We are seeking adynamic, Hands-on, exceptional Electro Optics System Engineer to join our R&D team. If you are passionate about pushing boundaries and developing unique computer vision electro optics solutions with disrupting technology that is changing the market, we are the place for you!

As an Electro Optics System Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our custom built imaging sensors , and integrating them into our complete innovative solution.

In your day-to-day you'll

• Define electrooptical requirements and system design for newly developed imaging sensors and improvement of ones already developed.
• Work with optics developers and component providers to develop detailed specifications for the sensor and optics components, perform design tradeoffs, and monitor their work.
• Perform hands on optical components performance evaluation in the lab with optics and software tools, including lab setup and tools definition, and writing software code for lab experiments (Phyton, MATLAB, C , etc.).
• Define and execute test plan for electro optical system performance evaluation in the lab.
• Perform and lead electro optics tuning processes (mechanical and software, such as ISP), and camera images quality algorithms development.
• Derive the production electro optics testing requirements and setup as part of the NPI process.
• Document work and communicate findings and insights to other team members and management, in design reviews and ad-hoc.
• Perform new electro optics technology research and evaluations, feasibility studies and tests, and present the results to high management.
• Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team of engineers, including - embedded software engineers, hardware and mechanical engineers, algorithm researchers, systems engineers, and product managers.

To excel in this role, we need you to have

• Academic degree (B.Sc.) in physics, engineering, or other relevant field.
• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in complete development life cycle of electro optics, including optomechanical and electrical integration.
• Knowledge of geometrical optics, physical optics, and optical technologies, imaging sensors, illumination.
• Experience in computer vision applications, working with algorithm developers.
• Experience working with and monitoring subcontractors in the field of electro optics.
• Excellent data analysis skills and ability to work with complex data.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently and time effectively.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English at a high level.
• Good system view and understanding of user needs transformation to requirements and specifications.

• Proficient in advanced software tools for optical analysis and optical system design (e.g.: Zemax).
• Experienced in developing cameras for harsh conditions such as Aerospace and Defense.
