Backend Team Lead

As we experience rapid growth, we're seeking a Backend Team Lead to spearhead the expansion of our backend team and support scaling efforts.

With over 500M+ employees still falling back to platforms like WhatsApp for their day-to-day work chat,  Zenzap introduces a high-performance messaging platform that has the slickness and intuitiveness for the employee while providing administration and provisioning tools for the organization. Unlike other platforms that excel on a single platform - on the mobile or the desktop, Zenzap provides a best-in-class experience for the web, desktop, and mobile.

Key Challenges:

• Supporting the user base's rapid growth.
• Developing and deploying our first external APIs for platform integrations.
• Build the team and processes to support integration to dozens of integrations to 3rd party tools and platforms

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing large backend systems, with a preference for Go or Python.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly GCP or AWS.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, whether technical or managerial.
• A solid grasp of DevOps principles and practices.

We'll appreciate these extras:

• Experience in leading rapid integrations with multiple 3rd party services
• Experience in designing, implementing, and shipping APIs for external developers integration
