Who you’ll be working with:

Cognyte is looking for a highly qualified Legal Counsel to join the company’s Legal Department, to provide legal consultation and assistance to certain assigned business units.

• This is a temporary position, ML replacement*
  
  

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and other contracts with external parties: suppliers, partners, customers, regulators, etc.
• Provide legal guidance and assistance, as required by the business
• Keep up to date about legislative and other changes and advise the business as appropriate
• Handle various tasks assigned by the direct manager
  
  

• At least 3 years of commercial law experience, including working at a large/medium-sized law firm or in-house, preferably at a High Tech company
• Ability to draft, negotiate, and close various commercial agreements
• Ability to work under pressure and strict timelines
• Ability to work in a multi-stakeholder global organization
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, team player
• Business-oriented
• Self-driven and highly motivated to contribute to the success of the company
• English at the mother tongue level
