Boeing is seeking for a Global Field Operations and Chief of Staff to join the Supplier Management team in Israel The position will be responsible for dealing with local suppliers and provide support and insights to our different factories. This role requires up to 80% travelling mostly in country. Suppliers office are located in the center of Israel. Travels are required mainly within this area.

This position does not require applicants to live in Tel Aviv (Israel).

Position Responsibilities

• Monitors emergent offload/overload suppliers including systems, processors, machine shop and sheet metal shop to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity.
• Identifies, establishes and maintains priorities for deliveries of products, services and data that support necessary supplier contractual corrective actions and resolution of issues (e.g., poor schedule performance, product and producibility issues) to ensure contractual compliance.
• Communicates across functions (e.g., procurement agents, suppliers, internal customers, field quality, engineering, manufacturing) to report status and concerns.
• Co-facilitates with the supplier the development of a recovery plan and unplanned demand requirements. Identifies needs for training on business and manufacturing practices (e.g., requirements interpretation and clarification, contractual compliance, scheduling tools, technical skills, self assessment) to supplier personnel for improvement or enhancement delivery performance.
• Monitors suppliers' performance-to-plan to ensure compliance to contractual requirements and provides status back to supervisor and procurement agent.
• Identifies and communicates opportunities to implement new processes or improves existing processes and reports back to management and make recommendation to procurement agent.
• Provides data for management review and tracking performance to plan.
• Develops, coordinates and assesses architecture of operating rhythm and leadership meetings.
• Conducts research and analyzes data from multiple sources.
• Provides strategic design, logistics and facilitation of large meetings/events.
• Plans and coordinates organizational facility requirements.
  
  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Knowledge of the procurement process used at company sites in order to track procurement obligations such as, schedule compliance, quantity and past performance.
• Knowledge of government, company, and local policies, procedures, and regulations.
• 7+ years of experience.
• Excellent in Microsoft Office(Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Word).
• Fluency in English.
• Rights to work in Israel.
• Ability to travel.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Fluency in Hebrew.
• Bachelor or equivalent or higher in engineering or related field of studies.
  
  

Typical Education

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
