SOC-SIEM System Implementer

Mertens - MalamTeam is looking for a SIEM and automation implementer for our information security and cyber protection department in a finance company.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and manage the corporate SIEM system.
• Integrate information sources and collect logs according to business requirements.
• Process logs and write business logic for the SIEM system.
• Address system faults, including during non-routine hours.
• Develop and interface automation within the SIEM system and related systems, including SOAR.
• Build dashboards, reports, and provide a broad perspective on cyber threats.
• Develop automation for handling intelligence information and maximizing system capabilities.
• Establish a control tool for managing servers and connected logs.
• Possess a broad understanding of the cyber world and SIEM systems, particularly QRADAR.
• Manage a complete system portfolio, including updates and upgrades.
• Write business logic and automation scripts in SOAR systems.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in exact sciences is an advantage.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 years in information security and cyber is mandatory.
• Minimum 2 years working with and maintaining the QRADAR system is mandatory.
• Experience in connecting to APIs and pulling information is mandatory.
• Technical knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems is mandatory.
• Experience in analyzing complex logs is mandatory.
• Ability to read and write scripts in PowerShell or Python is a significant -advantage.
• Experience in project management is a significant -advantage.
• Experience working in a banking/financial environment is a significant a-dvantage.
