Doing business as Lifeward (NASDAQ: LFWD), designs, develops, and commercializes life-changing solutions that span the continuum of care in physical rehabilitation and recovery, delivering proven functional and health benefits in clinical settings as well as in the home and community, is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our finance team.
The Bookkeeper/Accountant is responsible for the accounting activities associated with operations in Europe and Israel which requires coordination with our local third-party accounting firm to ensure complete and accurate books and records. In addition, responsibilities include recording transactions in the ERP, maintaining financial records and reports, and performing account reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
- Working on the accounting of foreign entities abroad.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Manage bank and credit cards reconciliations and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Process and track invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Reviewing and approving reimbursement expense reports according to company policy.
- Calculate prepaid and accrued expenses.
- Execute month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Conduct a monthly analytical comparison of the financial data.
- Provide support during financial audits and tax filings.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
· Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including managing payroll, tax forms, payroll journal entries, regulatory compliance, and reimbursements.
· Working with external auditors Involvement in quarterly reviews and annual audits.
· Ability to cope with a dynamic work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience within a Hi-Tech or multi-national company.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with Priority ERP system – a must.
- Experience with Shiklulit Payroll system – an advantage.
- Strong MS Office skills, especially in Excel.
- Ability to work independently (hybrid module) and meet deadlines.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written skills in German – an advantage.
Location:
The company offices are located in Yokneam Illit.
Hybrid model is also available (work partially from home).
