Laboratory Technician

Olive is focusing in developing an innovative passive spectral device for at home measurements of urine biomarkers. Olive’s next-generation device will enable to passively analyse urine and empower users at home with early biomarkers information.

The suitable candidate will have the opportunity to work with the lab team of the company- a young and dynamic medical device startup, and conduct various lab experiments and measurements required for big data gathering and validation.

A. The laboratory work creates the urine derived data which is an essential and important resource for the company.

B. The lab activity includes intense work with fresh urine and within an environment with multiple urine samples and measuring devices.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor of Science degree
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting, especially within an Industrial/IVD Certified ISO 15189/ ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory
• A team player with excellent communication skills, task-oriented, and capable of working to tight deadlines.
• Availability for two to three evening shifts per week is required.
• Experience in scientific or medical writing is a plus.
• A background in laboratory ISO standards (Regulatory & QA aspects) will be considered a significant advantage.
