Global Travel Manager

We are looking for a Global Travel Manager for the Delivery & Operation division. In this position, you will be a Global Travel focal point for Gilat’s employees and vendors. You will set & manage the company’s Global travel policies and procedures, negotiate corporate rates with travel vendors, and ensure compliance with the company’s travel policies and budget by analysis and controls.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Global responsibility for Gilat's Travel including Liaising with travel vendors, negotiating rates, and maintaining relationships to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Global Travel agency management and focal point.
• Booking transportation and accommodations for HQ employees, including flights, hotels, rental cars, and others as needed according to the company’s policies.
• Providing support and assistance to travelers before, during, and after their trips, including addressing any travel-related issues or emergencies.
• Be a global super user for the travel system – ‘TripeX’ (formerly ‘ComBtas’)
• Review and approve Travel invoices for payment.
• Generate reports and analyze travel data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of travel arrangements and expenses in the travel system for reporting and auditing purposes.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance and human resources, to ensure compliance with travel policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENT

• Previous experience in corporate travel management or a similar role, preferably in a large organization – a must
• High level of English (fluent speaking, reading, and writing)
• BA degree, preferably Business Administration / Economics
• Proficient knowledge of Excel and PPT
• Vast experience with the ‘TripeX’ travel system (formerly ‘ComBtas’) – an advantage
• High analytics skills: financial and operational analysis to optimize travel expenses.
• Strong understanding of travel booking systems, such as Sabre, Amadeus - an advantage.
• Knowledge in SAP system - an advantage.
• Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing travel needs and schedules – Hour’s flexibility is A MUST for supporting travelers abroad.
