Description

Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and resolve internal and customer-reported issues effectively.
• Develop comprehensive Feature Specifications encompassing requirements and detailed designs.
• Independently implement improvements and features individually or as part of a collaborative team effort.
• Assess and integrate third-party libraries into the existing system.
• Conduct peer reviews of Feature Specifications, codes, Test Plans, and other engineering documents.
• Optimize the performance and scalability of existing features and solutions.
• Collaborate with customer and product teams to comprehend new requirements.
• Create project plans, establish schedules, track progress, and provide periodic project status reports to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Lead a team responsible for implementing new features and enhancements.

Required Skills: 

• Minimum 10 years of practical experience in software development, focusing on one or more of the following domains:
• Proficiency in Mellanox Spectrum is a must-have skill for this role. Candidates should have hands-on experience with Mellanox Spectrum networking solutions, including Ethernet adapters, switches, and network functions. 
• Demonstrate proficiency in writing high-quality code in C, C++, Go, or Python.
• Architectural design and development of data paths for L3 technologies and L2 technologies.
• Architectural design and development of data paths for QoS technologies, including Queueing, Classification, Policing, Marking, Shaping, ACL, and ECN.
• Proficiency in Debian Build/Packaging, Linux Kernel, and Kernel Networking Stack.
• Knowledgeable in High Availability, ISSU, and Linux networking.
• Familiarity with Containers and Virtual Machines (VM)

Education: 

• Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
