Security Researcher

We are in search of a seasoned Security Researcher to join an elite team. As a member of this innovative and highly skilled research group, you will be at the forefront of designing security frameworks that safeguard clients on a global scale. Your expertise will lie in uncovering malware and identifying threats across diverse networks, employing advanced data analytics techniques on our expansive data platform. Additionally, you will contribute to thought leadership, articulating and disseminating your findings through various media channels.

Responsibilities:

Develop analysis tools and infrastructure to bolster the team’s research efforts.

Engage in malware hunting activities, leveraging our big-data platform with techniques you will design, construct, and automate.

Publicize and present research findings, crafting content for our blog and other media outlets.

Reproduce and demonstrate malicious attacks, and devise mitigation strategies.

Conduct thorough analysis of network-based vulnerabilities, enhancing core product capabilities and working closely with engineering teams.

Requirements:

BSc in Computer Science – required.

Extensive knowledge of networking and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, SSL, HTTP, DHCP, Routing) – required.

Deep understanding of threat scenarios and attack techniques (Malware, C&C communication, Phishing, Network scans) – required.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with published research.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Java – required.

Passion for analytics and investigation using big data platforms (NoSQL and relational databases: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, AWS Athena).

Experience with big data frameworks (Spark) – preferred.

Hands-on experience with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Nessus, Snort, Scapy.

Experience in malware analysis and machine forensics (Volatility, Yara, Windbg) – preferred.

Excellent English and communication skills.

Team player, responsible, and well-organized.
