Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Quality Engineer with a passion for industrial automation. As a Quality Engineer you will play a fundamental role in one the industry’s leading engineering teams in the field of drive technology and industrial automation. As part of a customer-focused organization, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of quality assurance processes.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Be the focal point of contact for customers and lead field service calls as well as customer complaints and investigations.
• Be the focal point of contact to relevant regulatory standards labs such as CE, UL and TUV, and ensure the requirements are implemented throughout the quality management system of the company.
• Ensure nonconformances/ deviations/ complaints are investigated and assessed for root cause identification, with effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Interact and collaborate with other department such as Operations, Engineering, and R&D, to improve the company’s working processes.
• Lead and perform internal and external audits to suppliers and subcontractors with preparation, improvements, summary and follow up.
• Data collection and analysis: define the methods, monitor reports and present trends, make recommendations and follow up the action steps for change, maintenance and improvement. Perform problem identification, resolution, loss reporting and continuous improvement.

Minimum requirements:

• B.Sc or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance as part of a manufacturing environment
• Experience with UL, TUV regulatory standards – advantage
• Experience with Priority ERP – advantage
