Product Development Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer to join a team of engineers in a medical device company. You will be responsible for driving the entire product development cycle from concept to manufacturing transfer.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and refine product requirements and specifications

Develop innovative product design concepts through brainstorming

Create CAD models and prototypes to evaluate designs

Develop test methods, protocols, and design verification activities

Design manufacturing processes, documentation, and control plans

Collaborate cross-functionally to support development activities

Ensure adherence to quality system requirements and design controls

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering or related field

2-4 years of product development experience in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks) and MS Office suite

Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability principles

Strong problem-solving, communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and ability to work in a regulated industry
