Data Scientist

A Fintech startup has developed an AI/ML system that aids in decision-making and risk management in the realms of loans and investments for growing startups, thereby transforming the process by which loans are extended to large companies.

The technology is patented and has the ability to predict future revenues, cash flow status, customer repayment capability, and more for prospective companies.

The company has sites in London, the USA, and elsewhere and is funded by prominent investors, with current funding exceeding $150 million. It is experiencing growth and offers competitive and excellent conditions.

Based in Tel Aviv, near the railway line, the company has around 100 employees and incorporates one work-from-home day per week.

Role Description:

• The role primarily involves theoretical/research-based ML work around 90% of the time, focusing on Data Science tasks such as working on tabular data, text, LLM/NLP problems, Time series, and Generative AI.
• Tasks include Document classification, Entity recognition, Statistical analysis, Sentiment analysis, coding in Python, SQL, working in a team comprising both DS and MLE personnel assisting in Deployment to Production, and working closely with the product management team.

Requirements-

• MSc/Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, statistics, econometrics, or equivalent
• 4 years of experience as a data scientist
• Experience in Time Series Analysis and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of NLP techniques, including document classification, entity recognition, and sentiment analysis.
• Extensive background in statistical analysis
