C++ Software Engineer

A company specializing in algo-trading that develops algorithms for high-frequency trading (HFT). The company operates in the HFT (High-Frequency Trading) sector and is among the global leaders in algorithmic trading, which is stock market trading based on algorithms. High-frequency trading is achieved through the use of supercomputers and complex algorithmics based on deep learning and mathematics.

The company is considered a "rising star" in the field and generates millions of dollars in net profit for its shareholders each year.

Role Description: Development of high-frequency trading systems based on algorithms in C++. A small part of the role includes implementing algorithms. Work is conducted in a Linux environment and involves working on an internal cloud. The position requires joining an existing team and reporting to the team leader.

The company is highly profitable (annual bonus distribution), was established in 2010.

Located in the central region of the country. There are transportation services from employees' homes by taxi. The company has around 100 employees and includes one work-from-home day per week.

Responsibility

• Design, develop, analyze and implement advanced cutting edge distributed automated trading systems - demanding extreme throughput and latency optimization.

• Take part in the full life cycle development of data engineering analytics, in a complex, research environment, while contributing directly to the dynamic, operational flows (CI/CD).

• Work with quants to build scalable infrastructures and develop algorithms for modeling the financial market.

• Build tools and simulators for exploring market opportunities and analyzing the competitive landscape.

• Study and exploit bit level considerations to optimize throughput and latency of cross hardware and software components.

• Manage and monitor an on-premises cluster and the cloud based environment, where we execute data demanding pipelines.

Requirements-

• Cum laude BSc. in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a well-known academic institute.

• Strong knowledge and experience developing scalable systems, preferably in C++

• Passion for big data and data-driven decision making
