Software Engineer

Metalix CAD/CAM Ltd. specializes in the development of advanced CAD/CAM solutions for the sheet metal industry. The candidate will join the development effort of a challenging robotic project.

His/her responsibilities will include the design and development of algorithms for solving robotic tasks such as the calculation of trajectories, collision avoidance and gripping positions,.

At Metalix, algorithm designers also write the relevant code.

As a software developer it is expected that the candidate will:

• Develop quality software 
• Design highly scalable, testable code
• Analyze and maintain existing software 

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Computer Science or Mechanical Engineering
• Development experience with programming languages
• Thorough knowledge in Data Structures and Algorithms, Mathematics, and 3D Geometry
