Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Bioinformatician at the Weizmann Institute of Science. The Bioinformatician will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks such as statistical analysis of omics data. The role involves conducting research, development and utilizing bioinformatics tools. The Bioinformatician will work closely with researchers and scientists to support their projects and contribute to scientific discoveries.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in statistics, Python and R programming, data visualization
• Knowledge of bioinformatics tools and databases
• Experience in omics data analysis
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Master's or Ph.D. in bioinformatics, software engineering, or related field
