We are seeking an entrepreneurial Lead Data Scientist to scale up our models and algorithms and enable our breakthrough gene expression optimization platform.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design the data science infrastructure: implement the technology stack including data acquisition, preprocessing, storage and analysis.
• Transform prototype algorithms into production-grade solutions: taking our existing prototype-grade algorithms into robust and scalable solutions.
• Continuously learn and evolve new technologies and create new models and algorithms to keep our platform at the forefront of the bioinformatics landscape.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines and models: ongoing maintenance and improvement of data pipelines and models.
  

• Academic degrees (M.Sc or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, Computation Biology or other related fields.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in designing and implementing data science infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in machine learning with experience in developing and deploying models.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• MUST: strong knowledge in bioinformatics tools or in biotechnology related fields
