Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety programs and policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee and lead maintenance procedures and actions to uphold safety standards.
• Conduct safety surveys, risk management, and lead corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage safety permits in accordance with established work instructions.
• Supervise the use of standard and proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Conduct employee training sessions on safety practices and protocols.
• Promote a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization.
• Plan and execute infrastructure maintenance activities, continuously improving processes for efficient and uninterrupted operation of company systems.
• Accompany and supervise maintenance works and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Certified Safety Officer with a valid certificate of competence.
• Proven experience as a Safety Officer within the chemical industry.
• Background in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or materials engineering is an advantage.
• Proficient in technical English.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus.
