By leveraging AI to streamline the resource-intensive process, Munch extracts bite-sized clips from lengthy videos that are ready for social media sharing within minutes.

The company recently raised $7.2 million in seed funding from A class Ventures. The funding will allow the company to grow faster, enter new global markets, and improve its enterprise offerings.

Munch has over 3,500 paying subscribers and $2.5M ARR. As a primary short-form vendor, the company has contracts with several major media companies.

Role Description:

Be our first product designer! You will be responsible for creating and designing products that meet users' needs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products align with the company's goals.

To do that, you will:

• Own a full design cycle from research to hands-on design, collecting inspiration and creating an intuitive, accessible, pixel-perfect UI for all states and scenarios, and deliver to development.
• Conduct extensive product research based on market trends, support tickets, data and competitor analysis, to support design and product recommendations and decisions, ensuring our goals are aligned with users’ needs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Frontend Developers and others to understand requirements and provide creative, thoughtful solutions inside and outside the team.
• Work with the development team to ensure designs are implemented according to specs and collaborate to devise creative design solutions when technical challenges arise.

Qualifications

• Excellent visual design and design thinking skills.
• You are an Expert with User Research and UX Research methodologies.
• 4+ years of experience in delivering clear, accessible, top-notch design specs.
• 2+ years Experience working in a startup and being in charge of a product design of a SAAS product.
• Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Figma).
• Team player who knows how to collaborate and brainstorm with all kinds of people from different disciplines.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates design skills and processes
• Experience with applying Material design UI components in SaaS platforms.
• Experience in applying material UI components to design a Saas system
• Very good level of English, spoken and written.

Nice To Have:

• Knowledge of CSS and HTML is a plus.
• Experience with video editing is a plus.
• Experience with content creation and content distribution is a plus
• Familiarity with AI and machine learning technologies is a plus
