Data Engineer

A stealth startup in the AI Tech field, leading and driving the AI revolution in defense industries. The company was founded through a collaboration between the defense industry and the leading, and even the first, AI technology company in the country. There is a market fit, customers, and significant funding for the coming years, with expectations to triple in size over the next year.

The current focus is on projects involving computer-vision-based systems and aerial data (aerial photography), and later on radar, vehicles, robots, and more.

The role combines 80% Data Engineering and 20% external interfaces work. Reporting to the CTO.

The position will include Data Engineering and Data Analysis tasks, including writing ETL pipelines, working with Python and Pandas, Open-CV, as well as tasks with clients and stakeholders, defining requirements, and making data-driven decisions.

The company has 11 employees and is located in Tel Aviv near a train station.

Requirements

• Education: B.Sc. /M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
• 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer 2 years of experience in Python development
• Development in Python on data engineering domains.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to craft and deliver persuasive presentations, detailed reports & accurate insights.
• Experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
