Core Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design the data science infrastructure: create the technology stack, including data acquisition, preprocessing, storage, and analysis.
• Transform prototype-level algorithms into production-grade solutions: creating robust and scalable solutions.
• Integrate data science components into the online platform: Collaborate closely with the synthetic biology team to integrate the data science functionalities into the online platform.
• Maintain and improve data pipelines and models: ongoing maintenance and improvement of data pipelines and models.
• Continuously learn, evolve, and embrace new technologies to keep the company's platform at the forefront of the ecosystem.

Requirements:

• Academic degrees (M.Sc or PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science or Computational Biology.
• Proven industry experience of 5+ years in designing and implementing data science infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in Machine Learning with experience in developing and deploying models.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Proficiency or background in genetics is essential for this role.
