Head of Product

One of my clients - A deep-tech startup developing an AI-based platform in the field of reformulation is seeking to recruit a Product Lead with a background in AI-based products.

The unique platform, developed in collaboration with leading Weizmann Institute researchers, enables molecular-level accurate control in scent design through the use of neural network machine learning.

With its AI scent design solution, the company provides its partners with the ability to fully control the scent experience delivered to their consumers. This includes increasing delight, eliminating bad smells, and solving supply chain, cost, and regulatory issues in the manufacturing process of products where the odor factor is of high importance.

Responsibilities:

• Identify market opportunities, build business cases, and define product vision and strategy.
• Create an evidence-driven product roadmap based on customer research, product feedback, market research, competitive landscape, business opportunities, and executive input.
• Own all features end to end, from specs to service. Understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch frequently.
• Manage the product lifecycle in collaboration with R&D.
• Understand and participate in regulatory processes.
• Be in charge of product rollout to customers and partners, including marketing materials and product documentation.
• Support Sales and Marketing activities in events and conference calls.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. or advanced degree in computer science, mathematics, chemistry, or scientific fields.
• Experience in product management.
• Experience managing deep learning (DL) based products is an advantage.
• Expertise in customer-facing and key opinion leaders (KOLs) management.
• Experience working in start-up companies.
• Excellent English communication skills, capable of representing the company abroad.
• Passion and interest in olfactory research, perfumery, fragrance, and flavor industries - nice to have.
