Senior Data Engineer& Analytics Team lead(7+years)

An amazing startup that develops a cloud enterprise platform to manage merchandise and inventory is looking for a senior Data Engineer with a BI/analytics background to lead a team of 2 analysts and create solutions in collaboration with the product department.

Job Description

The Analytics Team Lead Engineer will manage, support, and develop the company’s Analytics team. This role involves working closely with the Product team to define BI reports based on client needs, design and implement data models, build ETL processes, and create data marts. The successful candidate will also develop BI reports using a generic methodology and address specific business analysis challenges for our customers.

• Team management and development - lead, mentor, and develop a team of analytics professionals by providing guidance and support, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Partner with the Product team to understand client requirements and define BI reports that meet their needs.
• Take part in designing and architecting data solutions for all application requirements in a distributed microservices environment.
• Use advanced analytical techniques to solve complex business problems and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Develop data pipelines for a variety of data products in Onebeat’s application.

• 6+ experience in data analytics-related positions, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position.
• SQL expertise, working with various databases, data warehouses, third-party data sources and AWS cloud services
• Proficient with Python
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and BI tools 
• Self-driven, Can-Do attitude
  

• Familiarity with supply chain systems (big advantage).
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies and cloud platforms.
• Passion for open-source tools
