The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for building and leading Civan's quality system and for the continuous improvement of the organization's quality. They will manage and oversee quality processes with an emphasis on suppliers and receiving quality raw materials, production processes and final product inspections, to reduce costs and improve product quality. The work involves many interfaces with stakeholders within the company as well as with the company's subcontractors and customers.

Job Description:

• Implement and manage the quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9001-2015.
• Perform event analysis as part of continuous organizational improvement.
• Production processes: Ensure quality work based on written work procedures, ensure employee authorization processes, and manage the change management system and its implementation.
• Supply chain processes, quality assurance with suppliers:
• Control the quality of raw materials arriving at Civan.
• Quality control of suppliers and subcontractors, conducting supplier audits.
• Coordination of infrastructure establishment and scheduling of acceptance inspections at Sivan/at the subcontractor.
• Handling non-conformities, in the MRB process, in returns to suppliers, in customer complaints and RMA.
• Implementation and continuous improvement of existing and new processes in the supply chain.
• Machinery and equipment: Ensure equipment maintenance and calibration is carried out according to requirements.
• Conduct internal audits, lead audits with external auditors.
• Continuous review of quality tools and quality metrics that are appropriate and required for implementation in the company.

Job Requirements:

• Industrial and Management Engineer or Quality Engineer or Configuration Management Engineer degree from a recognized institution.
• 3-7 years of experience in the field of quality from a manufacturing company in a technological field.
• Prior experience in ISO implementation (at least 3 years).
• Experience from a quality system in the military field - an advantage.
• Ability to understand and approach the product structure technically.
• Ability to manage multiple interfaces effectively within the organization.
• Familiarity with SAP Business One system - an advantage.
• Proficiency in Excel and various Office applications (VLOOKUP, VBA) - an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Organized and methodical worker.
