Climate Tech VC Principal

We are currently seeking an experienced VC Principal to join our team.

The Principal role at ZORA involves:

• In-depth support of portfolio companies, including board participation and assistance with fundraising, business development and strategic advisory;
• Research and synthesis of climate challenges, global corporate needs in meeting net zero goals, and relevant Israeli technologies;
• Management of due diligence processes with advanced skills in financial analysis, modeling, valuations;
• Working with third-party advisors on carbon accounting and metrics for new investments and existing portfolio;
• Drafting of highly detailed investment memos;
• Supporting fundraising efforts and investor relations;
• Participating in and contributing toward industry conversations, both within Israel and abroad; and
• Providing support with general operational tasks as required.

Ideal candidates will be/have:

• Based in Tel Aviv / Herzliya;
• Minimum four years of VC experience with track record of supporting portfolio company's at board level;
• Several years' professional experience outside of Israel;
• Familiarity with Israel's early-stage VC ecosystem, investors, incubators, accelerators, etc;
• Demonstrated passion for climate innovation;
• Outstanding maturity, integrity and work ethic;
• Native-level English with strong writing and communication skills; and
• Fluency with excel and financial modeling.
