As a Qualcomm senior software engineer for our Edgewise platform, you will lead, design and develop cloud edge software and applications that help the world’s tier-1 cellular network operators with network automation and optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience
• 8+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as Java, Python, C#
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience designing and leading major architectural changes.
  
  

As a Senior Software Tech Lead for our Edgewise platform, you will:

• Serve as the technical lead of the project from architecture to design, development, testing, production deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with a team of talented engineers to provide innovative solutions to Cellular Networks problems.
• Collaborate with other teams in R&D and the product teams.
• Provide guidance to team members on best practices and standards for software development and architecture.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications and Technical Experience - What you will bring:

• Team player with strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong experience in designing architecture for a highly scalable complex distributed system.
• Strong understanding of cloud development, deployment, and production operations.
• Experience working with micro-services architecture.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
