NewPhotonics is disrupting data center processing with novel photonic engines solving the power and performance challenges. We are looking for a HW Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the technological landscape of our organization. The successful candidate for this position has a track record of strength and aptitude relevant to the following areas:
- Be part of R&D HW group
- Developing High-speed boards (above 70Ghz)
- Bring up optical/RF boards.
- Run tests and experiments.
- Lab hands-on
- Working with advanced laboratory equipment.
- Cooperation with other employees and teams to carry out the tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with High-speed board design
- Power supply and Analog design (DAC/ADC)
- Hands-on lab experience
- Schematic and PCB Design, layouts
- SI and PI simulations and debug
- Familiar with lab equipment such as Scop, VNA, and spectrum analyzer
- Proactive and versatile nature, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Provide technical documentation and support for manufacturing
- Team player
- Experience with Optical transceivers
- Experience in lab automation using tools (based on Python)
- Experience with DSP HW layout
- microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Knowledge of photonic integration technology and its ecosystem
