The opportunity:

October 7th attack on the southern part of Israel has been traumatic for the Israeli society with profound impact on the mental health of those affected by the events, the Israeli society. The state of war that ensued further exacerbated this devastating impact. Metaplim Banefesh is a pioneering initiative led by TEVA, Israel's leading pharmaceutical company , aims at providing comprehensive support and development for mental health professionals. It is an ambitious T strategic programs aimed to help address the capacity of professionals and health organizations to prevent and treat trauma and other mental health consequence associated with it, and to help Israel address gaps in trauma and mental health response that preceded the events in October. The program is focused on large scale training, leveraging innovation, leadership, and creating safe spaces, Teva is dedicated to enhancing the care provided to those in need and fostering a supportive community for therapists.

How you’ll spend your day:

The program manager/director of Metaplim Bnefesh will play a critical role in setting this initiative into motion, working closely with TEVA's leadership teams to execute this signature initiative. This position is pivotal for ensuring the successful operationalization, scaling, and sustainability of the Metaplim Banefesh programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the implementation and progress of Metaplim Banefesh's strategic pillars: Training, Innovation, Leadership, and Safe Place.
• Rethink and articulate the vision and approach for the Metaplim Banefesh program, including a long-term national strategy.
• Develop and implement a governance and operating model that ensures efficient and effective program delivery.
• Build a comprehensive 5-year roadmap and budget plan for Metaplim Banefesh.
• Monitor progress across all program pillars, providing regular reporting to TEVA leadership.
• Staff and manage the Metaplim Banefesh team, coordinating daily activities and strategic priorities.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with key partners in the Israeli ecosystem, to ensure collaboration and delivery across initiatives.

Your experience and qualifications:

• Proven professional track record with a strong focus on strategic or program management activities, preferably in a consulting or corporate role.
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge in Healthcare, Mental Health, or Social Impact initiatives.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive organizational progress.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building sustainable relationships with team management and external partners.
• Proven track record of leading complex projects to success, demonstrating the ability to organize and execute on multiple assignments and action plans.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Hebrew is highly desirable.
• A genuine passion and interest in trauma care and making a social impact.
