R&D Team Lead - Part time

Job Description:

We offer a Part time position, in a dynamic, fully remote environment.

As the R&D Team Lead at Schooler, you will lead our global team of developers and the technical strategy of our platform 

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of critical software components.

Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and system architecture.

Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a software development lead or similar role.

Strong technical background with expertise in Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.

Proficient in front-end technologies, preferably React.

Experience with SQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with Git, Agile methodologies, and continuous integration/delivery practices.

Fluent in Hebrew and English, with outstanding communication abilities.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have:

Experience in a SaaS products

Previous remote work experience demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
