DevOps Architect

We are looking for an experienced Devops Architect to join a fast growing leading company as a expert guidance on system and infrastructure architecture. This role is crucial for supporting CDN and Open Edge technologies, as well as our DevOps, SRE, DevSecOps, IT, and Operations teams. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies, cloud services, security practices, and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient solutions focused on cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, plan, and implement infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives and support our CDN and Open Edge technologies. Prioritize cost-effective designs without compromising performance and reliability.
2. Cost Optimization: Integrate cost considerations into designs, identify savings opportunities, and implement best practices.
3. Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging technologies, evaluate their potential benefits for system and infrastructure improvements, and make recommendations for adoption.
4. Scalability and Performance: Design scalable, resilient solutions optimized for high performance.
5. Security: Incorporate security best practices into designs and ensure compliance with security requirements.
6. Cloud Services: Efficiently utilize cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), optimize costs through resource management, and design cloud-native solutions that support CDN and Open Edge.
7. Collaboration: Facilitate cross-team communication and act as a bridge between developers, operations, security, and DevOps teams.
8. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, guidelines, and best practices.
9. Performance Monitoring: Implement monitoring to ensure the health, performance, and cost-efficiency of infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in infrastructure architecture.
• Expertise in cost-optimized, scalable solutions for CDN and Open Edge technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) and security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
