QA Engineer

Job Description

• Think like a Wix user and do your best to make sure that every possible scenario they could encounter are fully tested.
• Develop and execute manual test cases for new features.
• Participate in manual regression QA cycles.
• Initiate and execute tests without having a detailed test case.
• Take an active part in influencing the design, UX & product requirements from a QA perspective.
• Keep engagement up with a high-speed development process and ongoing deliveries, executing and adjusting your test cases accordingly.
• Join Wix’s QA guild, take part in cross-company activities and use the guild to grow your testing professionalism and skills.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in web-based testing methodologies around web applications, websites & mobile applications testing, based on solid knowledge of client/server architecture, HTML, CSS, JS basics & browser debugging.
• Experience in composing & executing software test plans, reporting and prioritizing bugs.
• Strong technical skills which makes you a pro at identifying bugs and solving complex problems
• Ability to easily switch between tasks regularly, without losing focus
• Self-motivated and able to work well both as part of a QA team and independently
• Proactive with high motivation, demonstrating excellent skills for asking the right questions and pushing back when needed
