We are looking for a General Counsel to join our legal team. This role will support the company's operations globally (US, UK, Israel and more). You will have an opportunity to use your legal expertise to have a big impact on a fast-growing hi-tech company.

Responsibilities:

As the General Counsel, you will provide legal support to our teams globally. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing Optimove's legal department
• Working directly with Optimove's business teams and sites worldwide to advise on a wide variety of commercial and regulatory issues
• Supporting our teams by reviewing vendor agreements, and contributing to the Company's continuing international expansion
• Supporting our sales and channel teams by reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements to ensure adequate protection of the company's interests
• Assisting with strategic transactions such as equity financings, strategic partnerships, and other corporate transactions
• Providing legal support on an ad-hoc basis to a variety of teams both on the Go-to-Market, and Product end
• Assisting in responding to RFPs
• Providing legal advice and supporting a wide variety of privacy matters (legislation updates and regulation such as GDPR, CCPA, best practices, EU decisions etc.) in EMEA, Israel, the US and APAC
• Helping to establish, draft and maintain appropriate company wide policies and procedures (both general and regional) that are related to privacy
• Drafting and negotiating privacy law related documentation
  
  

• Active Israeli bar licensed lawyer with 5-7 years of experience – must; in-house counsel in SaaS company – a big advantage
• Experience in managing
• Ability to manage several simultaneous projects under deadline pressure
• Experienced in drafting commercial, privacy and consulting agreements
• Knowledgeable in data protection and privacy regulations, licensing, and internet law (CIPP accreditation is an advantage)
• Understanding of SaaS and relevant industry metrics – advantage
• Business acumen with understanding of the "big picture" but also being able to deep-dive into details with high attention and a sense of accuracy
• Highly motivated and self-sufficient in executing multiple projects with a sense of ownership
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to advise all management levels
• Ability to negotiate positively and proactively and work efficiently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities under short delivery times
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) is a must
