Senior DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer in a Linux environment.
• Cloud Platform- Minimum 4 years of strong experience with AWS (mandatory).
• Proven experience working in a production environment.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)- Proficient in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, including configuration, building, and publishing containers.
• Familiarity with Packer.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible.
• Scripting Languages- Proficient in Bash, Python (scripting level), and Go (preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build/release processes.
• Experience in building and maintaining monitoring tools to ensure product stability and security.
• Accurate maintenance of specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and troubleshoot issues in the production environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient and automated workflows.
• Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation to deploy and manage AWS resources.
• Configure, build, and publish Docker containers, ensuring the smooth operation of containerized applications.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and security.
• Employ Ansible for configuration management, automating repetitive tasks, and ensuring consistent system configurations.
• Monitor and maintain the stability and security of the product through developing and implementing effective monitoring tools.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues in the production environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents promptly.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the reliability and performance of the systems.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and proactively adapt to new tools and methodologies.
• Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Accurately maintain specifications and documentation for all configurations, processes, and changes.

Preferred:

• Certifications: AWS Certified - DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified - Developer.
