The Role

We seek a driven and experienced Blue Team Lead to build and guide a new customer-facing Team within our Security Research group. In this critical role, you will lead a team of analysts responsible for improving our detection capabilities based on insights from client engagements, red team reports, and evolving threat intelligence. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with customers, internal teams, and industry experts to shape the future of our cybersecurity defense platform.

What You'll Do

• Lead and Mentor: Guide a team of analysts, providing technical expertise, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
• Customer Collaboration: Partner with customers to deeply understand their security challenges, identify detection gaps, and translate security needs into actionable improvements for our platform.
• Threat Analysis and Detection: Analyze red team reports, emerging threat intelligence, and attack techniques to develop and implement robust detection strategies.
• Technical Leadership: Drive innovation in security analysis, proactively adapt detection capabilities to counter the latest threats, and champion best practices within the team.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with engineering, product management, and other security teams to ensure the effective implementation and integration of new detection capabilities.
  
  

Qualifications

• Required:
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 2+ years in a Blue Team leadership role.
• Proven experience in threat hunting, incident response, malware analysis, or related security disciplines.
• Deep understanding of attack techniques, detection methodologies, and security tools.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide a team.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, comfortable interacting with customers and diverse stakeholders.
• Preferred:
• Experience in customer-facing security roles.
• Knowledge of cloud security and modern security technologies.
• Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, GCIH, etc.)
  

You’ll be part of our Security Research Group

The Security Research team focuses on constantly improving our detection and protection coverage against ever-evolving cyber-security attack techniques and tools. The team comprises top-tier global security researchers with expertise in offensive (red teamers, penetration testers) and defensive (SOC, DFIR, malware analysts, and reversers). Each research project and detection & protection rule become a core part of our various platforms.
