Chief Financial Officer – Job Description

Oramed Pharmaceuticals, an Israeli/U.S. publicly traded company engaged in the research and development of innovative pharmaceutical solutions, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer.

Location: Jerusalem, Israel

Summary of job description and responsibilities:

The CFO is a key member of the Senior Management Team and is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of the Company’s operation. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer. The duties shall include, but not be limited to:

·      Prepare financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and informational reports

·      Ensure compliance with SEC requirements, including but not limited to the timely preparation of 10-K,10-Q, 8-K, Form 3/4, etc.

·      Ensure compliance with TASE and ISA regulations

·      Interact with the Company’s auditors to ensure proper audit over financial reporting.

·      Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements in Israel and the U.S.

·      Create and maintain business and financial models 

·      Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and expenses to guide business leaders

·      Oversee the approval and processing of expenditure, and position control documents, budgets, payroll, ledger, and account maintenance and data entry

·      Establish and maintain appropriate internal control safeguards

·      Implement and ensure compliance with SOX requirements

·      Participate in the development and implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems

·      Participate in negotiations of contracts with suppliers and service providers 

Experience Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have the following background, experience, and profile:

·      CPA with 10+ years of public accounting experience and financial management

·      Proficiency with US GAAP and SEC requirements

·      Experience in SOX compliance.

·      Fluent in English and Hebrew with excellent writing skills
