Database Administrator Team Lead

We are looking for a SQL Server and Azure SQL team lead to join our family and be a part of the management team. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and be a part of a team of 6 DBAs 
• Provide technical leadership for team members 
• Participate in hands-on projects and activities 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical and business goals 
• Review SQL Server and Azure SQL instances and provide recommendations 
• Manage complex database environments 
• Plan and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions 
• Monitor and optimize database performance 
• Take care of database security, including data encryption 
• Participate in database design and development projects 
• Provide a high level of service and ensure customer satisfaction 
• Share knowledge with the team and the community 

Required Skills and Experience 

• Minimum 3 years of management experience 
• At least 5 years of experience with SQL Server and/or Azure SQL 
• Fluent in T-SQL 
• Experience with implementing HA/DR solutions, such as Availability Groups 
• At least 3 years of experience in query tuning, including monitoring solutions and analyzing execution plans 
• Service-oriented with excellent communication skills 
• Professional, thorough, well-organized, and creative 
• Fluent in Hebrew and English (read, write, and speak)
